    Dexis is seeking an experienced Project Associate to provide administrative management and proposal management support to the Center for Global Security and Stability.  The work location for this position will be in Washington, DC. This is a full-time position.


    • Provides administrative and operations assistance to Center staff 
    • Supports proposal teams, including writing of specific sections, or 
    • Recruits consultants, writes scopes of work, and engages directly with consultants
    • Assists in contract compliance and tracking financials, including budget and expenses
    • Helps maintain the CGSS website
    • Helps plan and facilitate internal and external events
    • Drafts written products for external audiences
    • Identifies new project leads and tracks upcoming opportunities
    • Staff are expected to create or attend Dexis Academy courses, as applicable to their positions and supervisor requests


    • Bachelor's Degree in International Development, Business or related field required; Master's Degree preferred
    • At least two of experience providing project management support and budget management experience in a research, consulting practice, non-profit or international development environment required
    • Experience working on donor-funded projects (experience with USAID-funded projects highly desirable) as well as exposure to developing countries required
    • Experience with USAID  procurement and compliance regulations strongly preferred
    • Skills in budget development and financial tracking using Microsoft Excel required
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google applications strongly preferred
    • Self-starting with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment strongly preferred
    • Positive attitude and ability to work with others constructively
