    The Security Associate will serve as the central focal point of contact for Contractor and Corporate security matters. Administer and assure compliance with security regulations and procedures in accordance with Contract guidelines. Routinely interact with Government agencies relative to security matters.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage Dexis’ existing corporate security platform in addition to designing and implementing new policies, procedures, and systems
    • Create, implement, manage, review, and update project security plans in response to operational results and client priorities, focusing on efficient procedures, visual diagrams, and project-specific maps
    • Liaise and coordinate with government clients and security partners in the US and the field to ensure compliance with local regulations and contractual requirements, continuity of project operations, and safety of personnel
    • Produce security risk assessments for Dexis programs and areas of operation, analyzing the overall risk environment and operational hurdles before offering mitigation measures to ensure program continuity
    • Conduct Pre-Departure Security briefings for travelers, briefing them on their destination and assignment-specific operational protocols, monitoring developments in location, and providing advice and incident response as required
    • Serve a key role on project-level Incident Management Teams and the corporate level Crisis Management Team
    • Provide active, remote security monitoring and analysis to support operations abroad
    • Design and deliver company-wide trainings and capacity-building sessions on a wide-range of topics such as travel security, field security management, and personal security awareness
    • Contribute to new business initiatives through strategy development, designing security platforms, engaging security partners, and offering technical and budgetary advice on bids and proposals
    • Solicit, manage, and reviewed technical and cost proposals from security and travel management vendors, selecting providers in coordination with the project management units
    • Serve as Dexis' Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), ensuring that the company maintains its facility clearance and is compliant with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
    • Process personal security clearances for staff and ensure security awareness and indoctrination through trainings, briefings, and updating policies/procedures
    • Function as the main administrator of Dexis USG security interfaces such as JPAS, NISS, SPOT, NCAISS, etc.
    • Submit badging paperwork and transfer security clearances to USG facilities domestically and abroad

    Qualifications

    • 2-5 years of working in security in a research, consulting practice, non-profit or international development environment.
    • Bachelors required
    • Strong analytical, financial, quantitative and qualitative research skills and/or evaluative skills required.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent writing, editing and research skills are required.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Secret Clearance preferred.
