    About the Position

    Dexis is seeking an experienced Organizational Development Finance Specialist to support the USAID/Kenya Mission Organizational Development Support (MODS) project. The purpose of this contract is to provide organizational development and capacity building technical assistance to strengthen the role and capacity of local development organizations, existing local Kenyan entities, and local governments to foster locally led development and implementation of sustainable development programs.


    This is a full-time position based in Nairobi, Kenya, with an anticipated start date on/about November 15, 2019. 


    • Assist in conducting organizational capacity assessments, and development of individual implementation plans for each organization assessed in the area of financial management.
    • Deliver direct assistance to support achievement of partner organizations’ individual implementation plans in the area of financial capacity.
    • Manage technical assistance delivery to partner organizations by consultants and local service providers.



    Minimum Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
    • At least 8 years of relevant experience supporting organizations in improving financial management capacity.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience living and working in Kenya.
    • Fluency in spoken and written English.


    Preferred Requirements:

    • Fluency in spoken and written Kiswahili.
    • Kenyan nationals strongly preferred.
    • Expertise in financial management for US government-funded projects.
