About the Position

Dexis is seeking an experienced Capacity Building Specialist to support the USAID Georgia Information Integrity/Countering Disinformation program. The purpose of this program is to build a platform for stakeholders to coordinate efforts in countering disinformation; strengthen the capacity of local actors to put out fact-based messages, and diagnose, track, and respond to disinformation.

 

This is a full-time position based in Tbilisi, Georgia. The start date is October 2020. This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement capacity building customized trainings for stakeholders related to information integrity and countering disinformation.
  • Lead capacity building efforts for supporting stakeholders to become sustainable and self-sufficient organizations.
  • Manage, implement, oversee, and direct capacity building and programming portfolio.
  • Develop, maintain, and support key stakeholder contacts throughout Georgia.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least five (5) years' experience in organizational learning and capacity development.
  • Experience with learning, capacity building, and organizational development.
  • Experience working with and enhancing coordination among various local actors.
  • Demonstrated success at preparing materials for and facilitating workshops and trainings; experience in facilitating communities of practice is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience living and working in Georgia.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Georgian.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least eight (8) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with USAID projects in the region.
  • Experience with data visualization, graphic design, or creating learning/information products.
  • Demonstrated experience in use of on-line software for training.
  • Georgian nationals strongly preferred.
